This site explores what Apophysis is capable of and reveals the results as well as tips and techniques for those who go exploring on their own. The unique approach here is that most of the emphasis is on Stereoscopic exploration that has only been possible since the 3D version of Apophysis was created a few years ago.
Thousands of Fractal fans and artists/designers are working with Apophysis and many of them contribute their ideas in the form of images, scripts, gradients, and plugins. A number of talented programmers frequently provide modifications to the program itself. Their collective works are found on numerous web based galleries, web pages, blogs and discussion forums. Links to many of these resources will be added to various parts of this site as time permits.
It is the special focus here to use and explore via stereoscopic imaging because it is so very satisfying a method of seeing details, textures, colors and shapes in these fractals. Obtaining stereo images from Apophysis requires a bit of skill and knowledge about the program and for working with stereo images. Both fractals and stereoscopy have long been my passion in the graphic arts and it is my pleasure to develop these specialized resources for you.
